At Arts Marketplace, affectionately known as AMP, we are passionate about supporting the sustainability of local, minority owned makers and small businesses in our community. We exist to address a few “not so fun” facts about our city that will help make Grand Rapids a place for all to thrive, prosper and belong.

- Over 50% of our local entrepreneurs say they need more support and training to allow for long term success (source: West Michigan Entrepreneurial Market Analysis, The Muskegon Innovation Hub, 2021)
Our goal is to not only enhance the area’s retail landscape but also champion diversity throughout our vibrant city.

Our vendor community (of 70 and growing!) receives:
- Capital. We pay 100% of their post-tax sales directly back to the maker
- Flexible, short term lease options significantly lower than market rate
- Fully staffed, beautiful retail frontage to market and sell their goods
- Space to host brand building events and build a following
- Co-op style marketing and social media exposure
- Access to marketing and merchandising consultants
- Access to financial advisors through partnerships with organizations like GROW
