Molly and Jake are the husband and wife duo behind The Clayful Co. They were born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI.
Molly is a speech-language pathologist for an elementary school by day, and a small business owner by night. She has always had a passion for art. It has been her dream come true to see this life-long passion turn itself into a business.
Jake, is the behind-the-scenes mastermind of The Clayful Co. He has a degree in Aerospace Engineering and uses all of that knowledge to engineer the best cutters out there. His savviness is also how we got our clay tools on Amazon Prime (WOOP WOOP!).
Molly started making polymer clay earrings as a hobby/creative outlet in 2019. After about a year of making and selling earrings, they expanded into creating clay tools for fellow clay makers and have since designed almost 400 clay cutters. They became the first small business to sell clay cutters on Amazon Prime. Over the past few years, they have also developed a Premium DIY Polymer Clay Earring Kit that includes EVERYTHING needed to make up to forty pairs of the highest-quality clay earrings and includes video tutorials to make learning easy and fun. This is the kit that Molly wishes she had when she first started out. Molly hopes that this kit helps others gain easier entry into this craft that she loves so dearly.
